OUR BELIEF
What We Believe
01
There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is.
02
He is perfectly holy, just, loving and truthful.
03
He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent - one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
04
The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, that He is the eternal God and the source of all life. God exists as 3 persons - God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin. Fully God, yet took the nature of man and lived a sinless life on earth for 33 years - teaching life principles, healing the sick, raising the dead and performing many other miracles. Falsely accused, betrayed and punished without justice, He died on a cross. But after 3 days, He was raised back to life and ascended to Heaven after encouraging and commissioning his disciples for 40 days. He is at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is sent to us as our Counselor and our Guide, helping us to grow into the likeness of Christ. We also believe in the Baptism and Anointing of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible consisting of 66 books, categorized into Old and New Testaments - is the inspired Word of God, is divinely authoritative, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. It is infallible (never wrong).
We believe that the redemptive work of Salvation is freely available to all through Jesus Christ. Man was made in the image of God to have fellowship with Him. Sin separated man from God. Yet, Jesus the Son of God, bridged the gap by taking our infirmities upon Himself and dying on the cross in our place. Admitting our sinful nature and acknowledging the work of Christ is all it takes to restore our relationship with God.
We believe that Water Baptism in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is an essential act of obedience to God. In doing so, we become part takers of the burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ. As a church, we regularly observe the Lord's Table to commemorate the death of Jesus Christ.
